our next show shall friday, july 31, with musical guests dr. and mrs. van der trampp. the theme shall be "how the other half lives," and will feature new members gretchen gavett and katie mccarthy.
a mere two weeks later, on friday august 14, we are doing another show. the theme would appear to be resignation, with musical guest arto payaslian who was in a band called mishima. comedy guests include mehran khaghani.

"hello out there in internet land." when people say that, you should check to see if their entire house is decorated in "country kitchen." maybe you should check under their crawlspace too. when's the last time you saw your uncle, anyway?
on the last friday of every other month the union square round table puts on a show that is mostly comedy. we reserve the right to claim that not everything we do is comedy. that way, we have an "out."
there are also bands.
sometimes, there are films. usually, i'd say.
some of us used to run a little newspaper called the weekly week. others of us have done other things. eugene mirman shows up a lot, as do other big time comics to make us feel bad about our careers.
the show is always at pa's lounge which is in union square in somerville, ma. there is a pizza oven in the back of the room but please don't ask about it. also, don't leave your baby in there. it's not on or anything, but i just don't want to be looking at no damn baby.
